What a hat bar actually costs.
Every party quote is built from the same three pieces, so you can see exactly what you're paying for — no mystery packages.
| Piece | What it covers | How it's priced |
|---|---|---|
| The hats & patches | Blank caps, the patch board, and the custom bride patch | Per hat, by cap style and how many patches each guest presses |
| The crew | Operators who set up, run the bar, press, and pack out | Staffing at $250/hr, including setup and teardown time |
| Travel | Getting the bar to your city | $0 local (OC / LA / San Diego); $900 flat outside that radius |
For a local weekend, a full staffed hat bar starts around $5,000 and scales with squad size and how custom you go. Bigger squads add a second press and more caps; destination weekends add the travel fee. That's the whole formula.
What moves the number
- Squad size. A group of 10 needs one station; 25+ gets a second press so the line never backs up into your dinner reservation.
- Patches per hat. One statement patch reads clean; some squads pile on three or four. More patches means a little more cap cost and press time.
- Custom artwork. A cut-ahead "Bride" or hashtag patch is a small add; a fully custom design across every hat is more involved but makes the set unmistakably yours.
- Where you're partying. Local Southern California is travel-free. Las Vegas, Palm Springs, Scottsdale, and other destinations add the flat travel fee.
Why we quote instead of listing a flat price
A 10-person brunch hat bar and a 30-person destination weekend are genuinely different jobs. Rather than pad a one-size package, we price the three pieces above to your actual weekend so you only pay for the caps, the hours, and the travel you need. Send the date and count and you'll have a firm number the same or next business day.
